Otros detalles/contenidos	Beim Grundkonzept dieser Visions (Visionen) für Horn und Klavier geht es darum, eine selbe Idee mittels zwei verschiedenen Identitäten auszudrücken, das heisst, gewisse Themen werden von beiden Instrumenten auf verschiedene Art gestaltet und entwickelt. Im eröffnenden Hauptthema, das als Startlinie eines Rennens betrachtet werden könnte, werden die zwei Instrumente auf leicht unterschiedlichen Strecken parallel führen und das thematische Material auf verschiedene Arten verwerten, sich manchmal kreuzen, überlappen, und sich schliesslich wieder trennen. Ähnlich geschieht auch die Einführung eines sekundären Themas durch die beiden Instrumente. Nach dem selben Konzept führt das Klavier den zweiten Satz kurz ein, noch bevor das Horn seine Kadenz am Ende des ersten Satzes beginnt. Im zweiten Satz werden diese Dissoziationen von Horn- und Klavierstimme besonders evident, das Horn spielt eine Variation des Hauptthemas des ersten Satzes, die sich beim Klavier aber nicht widerspiegelt, und umgekehrt. So geht es weiter bis zum Satzende, wo sich Horn und Klavier endlich im Klavier-Thema vereinen. Im dritten Satz scheinen die beiden Instrumente eine gleiche Vision des Themas gefunden zu haben und mit dem thematischen Material auch in ähnlicher Weise umzugehen. Sie werden aber daran gehindert, mittels einer subtilen Zeitverschiebung, die von einigen Takten (in einer Art 'Frage und Antwort-Spiel') bis auf einen Sechzentel schrumpfen kann und die zwei Instrumente quasi vereint. Colomer Januar 2007 The main concept behind 'Visions' for Horn & Piano is the idea of two separate elements expressing the same idea, in other words, how certain themes are viewed and developed by each of the two instrument. Beginning with a main theme that could be considered as the starting point, both instruments take parallel but somewhat independent paths, using the thematic material in different ways, sometimes crossing and briefly overlapping only to again go their separate ways. The introduction of a secondary theme is treated similarly between the two instruments. Following with that same idea, the piano briefly announces the second movement even before the horn has even started the Cadenza at the end of the first movement. It is in this second movement that the dissociation between the two instruments is most obvious since the main theme played by the horn is a variation of the first movement theme, which is not reflected in the piano, and vice versa. It is only at the end of the movement that the horn and piano once again converge on the piano theme. The main characteristic of the third movement is that even though the two instruments would appear to have an identical vision of the theme, one in which they execute the thematic material in a more similar way, most of the time the principal obstacle for the convergence of the two, in the designed question and answer format, is the subtle shifts in time, which range anywhere from the difference of a few bars to a quasi coinciding sixteenth notes. Colomer Januar 2007 La conception de base de ces 'Visions' pour cor et piano consiste à développer une même idée dans deux identités distinctes, autrement dit, certains thèmes sont conçus et développés différemment par les deux instruments. En commençant par un thème principal (qui peut être considéré comme la ligne de départ d'une course), les deux instruments vont 'mener' parallèlement sur des parcours légèrement différents, en exploitant différemment aussi le matériel thématique, en se croisant ou en se chevauchant parfois pour de brefs instants, avant de se séparer à nouveau. L'introduction d'un thème secondaire est traité de même manière, le piano l'exploitant différemment que le cor. Toujours selon ce même concept, le piano introduit brièvement le deuxième mouvement avant même que le cor ait commencé sa cadence à la fin du premier mouvement. C'est dans ce deuxième mouvement que ces dissociations sont particulièrement perceptibles, du fait que le thème principal du cor, qui est une variation de celui du premier mouvement, ne se reflète pas au piano et vice versa. Cela continue jusque vers la fin du mouvement, lorsque cor et piano se rejoignent enfin sur le thème du piano. Dans le troisième mouvement, alors que les deux instruments semblent avoir une vision identique du thème et jouent avec le matériel thématique de façon plus semblable, l'obstacle qui les empêche de vraiment converger, et c'est ce qui caractérise tout ce mouvement, vient d'un subtil décalage dans le temps qui peut s'étendre entre quelques mesures (dans ce cas, une sorte de jeu de questions-réponses) à une petite double-croche qui coïncide presque.
