“Oliver” opened on London’s West End in 1960. This musical by Lional Bart is now regarded as one of the biggest and most successful among the british musicals. A musical movie premiered in 1968, also featuring the music of Lionel Bart.
The musical is based upon the novel “Oliver Twist” by Chales Dickens.
“Consider Yourself” is the most well-known song from the musical and works perfectly also as a march.
